Our story
Janey J. James was created so I could have a place to share all my creative endeavors. It’s really easy to forget the accomplishments I’ve made, or how far I’ve come, especially when the mundanity of life gets in the way. I wanted a place where I could remind myself exactly how capable I actually am. Some things may change, some things may stay the same. My hope is that this space will grow and evolve as I, myself, grow and evolve. It won’t always be great or polished to perfection, but that’s the point.
I hope that whoever is here to witness, enjoys sharing the journey with me.

Janey J. is a chosen name that is tied to my roots so I won’t forget who I am and where I came from. For better or worse, it’s made me who I am today.
